Disney Dreamlight Valley Releases Sew Delightful Update

Disney’s Dreamlight Valley has released its new free update, titled Sue Delightful. The update adds Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas to the game’s roster. In addition, the December update also includes a new Star Path Frost and Fairies, which gives players the chance to unlock a ton of rewards. Gameloft’s development team teased Sally’s arrival in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley back in November, and with the arrival of a new update on December 4, she’s joined by her muscular boyfriend Jack Skellington, who has been a part of the game’s big roster since this time a year ago.

Unlocking Sally in Disney’s Dreamlight Valley is a bit of a chore, as players will have to chase down notes scattered across different locations, such as Anna’s castle, and the homes of Remy, Mirabelle, and Vanellope. From these locations, players will have to collect spider webs and bring them back to Jack. According to information shared on the game’s official news page, several fan-inspired new features have also been added with this update, including a new 16-point rotation for landscaping and furniture items. Additionally, the new Floating Islands area that was previously inaccessible with the Storybook Vale update has finally been unlocked. The Floating Islands offer players four large spaces to show off their decorating skills. In addition, Merlin will give out a special assignment, encouraging players to design each area according to a specific biome.

  • Small Winter Crystal

  • Moonstone x100

The December update also brings new Star Path rewards and activities to Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. The newest Star Path includes 110 different tasks for players to complete, which can earn them 1,810 tokens and seven different rewards. According to hints given by the game’s social media team in late November, these rewards include the Fairy Motif, Frosty Rabbit Companion, and Winter Crystal Chandelier, as well as 100 additional Moonstones. However, contrary to what some fans had speculated, Tinker Bell’s frost-talented twin sister Periwinkle does not appear in this update. But the trailer does show Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother, who is an even more famous fairy.

Winter holiday cheer has also returned to Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, as seen in the Sue Delightful patch notes released a few days ago. For the third consecutive year since the game’s Early Access release, The Gift of Giving event is returning to Disney’s Dreamlight Valley. It will include seasonal fish, gift wrapping paper, and a festive tree at the end of the month that will give out gifts like furniture and clothing each day. This year’s event will also feature some new activities, like building a snowman, which will make this festive event even more special.
