There’s plenty for fans of Overwatch 2 to discover and enjoy following the start of the game’s 14th season. However, some players have spotted a fun new glitch that messes up one of Zenyatta’s emotes in the most amusing way. Glitches are natural in any game, but if there’s a glitch that amuses players, it’s usually one that affects character models. In the case of this Overwatch 2 glitch in particular, it gives players the ability to put Zenyatta into A-pose at will.
This is not the first time an emote in Overwatch 2 has had such a glitch. Earlier this year, a similar issue was observed in an emote for Lucio. In every new major update of the game, even though a large portion of the existing bugs are fixed, it is almost certain that some new bugs will appear. This happens every time a new season of the game arrives. While players usually encounter glitches affecting UI and cosmetics during such times, sometimes more serious bugs can also appear that directly affect gameplay.
Fortunately, such new problems are quickly fixed by the game’s team after the new season of Overwatch 2 begins. A clip showing this Zenyatta bug was recently posted online by player RiffleChipz. The clip shows how Zen’s Retro Hero emote now changes to an A-pose instead of playing the correct animation. The pose looks even more weird as Zenyatta appears to be floating in the air while sitting. This amused many players so much that they requested Blizzard to leave this glitch as it is.

These weird animation glitches aside though, the Season 14 update for Overwatch 2 fixes a lot of common bugs and adds plenty of new content to keep players busy. Perhaps the most important of all the new features added to the game is the new hero Hazard. This is a tank hero whose abilities add strategic depth to the character’s gameplay style.
In addition to the new hero, players can now start working on completing another new Battle Pass, which includes several rewards, such as a Mythic skin for Reinhardt. While this Battle Pass was not available at the start of the season, players can soon get back into 6v6 matches, which will be live from December 17 to January 6 as a limited-time game mode. The return of this 6v6 game mode comes on the heels of last month’s first run of the hugely popular Overwatch Classic.
